The role:

Sojern is looking for a Hong Kong-based Account Manager to join our Enterprise Commercial team and support our continued expansion across Asia-Pacific, with more focus on HK and Taiwan.

The position will partner closely with our Hong Kong sales team to build and execute regional account strategy and be responsible for delivering the highest level of client success.

To thrive, candidates must be able to establish trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. They must have experience with planning and managing online media campaigns, including performance-based programmatic advertising.

  • Coordinate with Sales and Ad Operations to address your clients’ needs and ensure their advertising campaigns are successfully launched and managed to meet goals and objectives

  • Lead campaign performance analysis and optimisations/recommendations through reporting/presentations and/or client quarterly business reviews to drive upsells and client renewal/retention

  • Partner with Sales to provide high-quality client servicing centred around flexibility, choice and education using Sojern’s product capabilities

  • Work closely with your internal teams on day-to-day operational processes to ensure larger, high-impact strategic improvements

  • Lead the day-to-day, post-sales relationship with your portfolio of digital advertising clients. managing your accounts and campaigns successfully.

  • Establish trust-based relationships with your clients to enable client satisfaction and revenue growth via renewals, upsells and cross-sells.

  • Partner with the HK based sales team during the RFP and subsequent account planning process to ensure accounts and campaigns are set up for success.

  • Partner closely with internal Ad Operations teams on day-to-day operational processes and larger, high-impact strategic improvements.

  • Present campaign results and insights, as well as Business Reviews to clients on a regular basis.

  • Monitor and influence campaign delivery, troubleshoot issues and provide optimization and/or upsell opportunities across products/channels. 

  • May be responsible for training and/or mentoring new team members

  • Travel Required - up to 15%


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Marketing or related field.

  • At least 3-5 years overall campaign / account management experience in digital and programmatic advertising and/or travel vertical.

  • Language proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese-speaking to communicate with local market clients.

  • Possess analytical skills whilst being able to use data to tell a story.

  • Have an understanding of the programmatic landscape and trends.

  • Hands-on experience working with a DSP (Appnexus / DV360 / The Trade Desk / MediaMath) is a must.

  • Good exposure on understanding the Social Media/Facebook Marketing platforms.

  • Proficient in standard business and sales software, including Salesforce, Gsuite, and Office products.

  • Ability to handle multiple clients & campaigns on any given day.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Flexible in working with global clients, and collaborating with global and cross-functional teams.

  • Have keen to learn and evolve within a fast-paced, start-up environment.
