The Role:

Sojern is seeking a passionate and talented sales and business development professional to join Sojern’s growing EMEA sales team based in Dublin and especially our newly created SMB Attractions Team.

This role positions and sells Sojern’s marketing solutions to qualified small to medium sized organisations in the travel industry, with a focus on Attractions, in the EMEA markets.

This is a proactive business development role requiring previous sales experience, prospecting, pipeline management and conversion skills. You will be managing the full sales acquisition cycle for your assigned market, and continuously will be growing in this ever changing industry.

 

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a passionate go-getter who excels at generating new business through outbound phone sales. 

  • Build your book of business by identifying and engaging qualified prospects for regarding Sojern’s small and medium sized attractions advertising solutions 

  • Engage qualified and interested prospects through a high volume of calls and email activities

  • Recommend advertising solutions through a needs analysis to small-and-medium-sized tourist attractions

  • Achieve monthly quota through new business acquisitions 

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Fluency in additional European language required to be able to address multiple markets - either Spanish, Italian, or French

  • Excellent command of English language - written and spoken

  • 3- 5 years sales experience within digital marketing, online distribution, sales

  • Strong sales experience from prospecting to closing (lead generation, cold calling, pitching, client facing meetings).

  • Experience and interest in digital marketing, knowledge of the Travel Industry

  • Self-motivated; exhibits strong self-management and accountability

  • Ability to manage change, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organising skills

  • High energy partnered with a positive attitude
