Science Exchange seeks a Customer Strategy Leader with experience in business, marketing and/or management consulting to join our talented and growing team. The role will be Manager / Director level depending on the candidate’s experience.

The right candidate will have a keen ability to harness data to uncover new insights and design new approaches to create value for our customers and end users.
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyzing customer data about performance, unit economics, retention, and LTV
Conducting segmentation analyses and developing cohorts that can be dissected
Designing new strategies for engaging customers through multiple channels -- including via the Science Exchange platform (our product), marketing, in-person, and operational channels -- with the goal of improving customer experience and increasing adoption
Collaborating internally with Product, Marketing, Business Development, and Business Operations teams to share analyses and findings that help define our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
Piloting new approaches and tactics for serving our customers and driving upsell opportunities, repeat usage, and stakeholder satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
BA/BS degree required. Masters, MBA, or PhD is useful
4-10+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Strategic Marketing within top consulting firms, technology organizations, biopharma or a comparable industry; prior experience working for a technology startup is a plus
Solid understanding of life science, drug discovery and development, and R&D outsourcing market a plus
Analytical and data-driven; you are proficient at using data (think “Excel-ninja”) to generate strategies, assess, execute, and measure impact
Writing and speaking prowess; ability to effectively communicate to executives in a Board room setting
Industry awareness: ability to build and deliver compelling data-driven business cases and presentations to technical and operational audiences in all levels;
Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
Preferred location - based in Palo Alto, CA
