ClearDATA is seeking a Practice Lead that wants to use their Technical and HealthCare Industry expertise to truly make a difference in Healthcare! ClearDATA is exclusively focused on Healthcare compliance and security in the public cloud. In addition to our innovative technology and managed services, we’re growing our services team to help our customers in their cloud journey. We’re hiring a Practice Lead without our services team to help our enterprise customers accelerate their public cloud adoption and integrate our technology and services into their automation.  

The right candidate will be part of the fabric of the sales process and play a key role in winning new customers and expanding our footprint in the current customer base. The Practice Lead will collaborate with decision makers, solution owners and other areas of the business that focus on innovation and strategy. He or she will draw upon and communicate real world experiences, solution problems and opportunities on the fly, identify and articulate technical dependencies, and dive into details to support conversations or working sessions.

The Practice Lead can lead technical conversations as well as discuss clinical data workflow/workloads. The right candidate is adept at drawing from experience and expertise to “address the blank page”, in real-time in front of a customer, or to create something from nothing by tying business objectives to technical visions and solutions.  This is accomplished by approaching the customers business objectives and technical vision in creating new solutions or moving clinical workloads to the cloud, often through a combination of cloud transformation and technology innovation. This person can design distributed computing solutions in the cloud, leverage knowledge in healthcare solutions and/or interoperability paradigms to ensure that requirements align with the proposed solution design.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate cloud platform solution one or more of the following (AWS, GCP and Azure). Continued training to be multi cloud proficient is required.
  • In-depth discussions with customers on advanced directives, products and methodologies
  • Represent ClearDATA as an expert in HealthCare and cloud technology
  • Security and compliance core principles
  • Establish and maintain peer relationships with large organizations
  • Participate in account planning for strategic customers
  • Presenting technical capabilities of the ClearDATA platform and related services
  • Designing, selling, and delivering service engagements that meet customer’s needs
  • Travel (roughly 35%)
  • Collaborate with clients on the best product and/or service that best satisfy their needs
  • Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customers on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customers on needed actions
  • Collaborate and participate in organizational meetings and workshops with sales, services, product, operations, finance, marketing and company executives.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
  • Deep technical understanding of two or more of the following (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Technical expertise in moving and maturing applications to the cloud (cloud journey)
  • Experience working within the Healthcare industry
  • Experience working in a bonus or commission-based role
  • Strong peer relationship management
  • Engage in CI/CD discussions, methodology and planning
  • Disaster recovery, high availability and resilience strategies based on customers’ needs

Experience:

  • Security, Compliance, and Privacy expertise
  • Able to coordinate multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Experience/Knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills (both writing and oral)
  • Problem solving and active listening skills
  • Client relations – C-Level, VP, Director level
  • Engagement with decision makers and influencers
  • Strong business discovery process and acumen

  • Experience working in a VC backed start-up environment

Must have experience in the following areas:

  • Cloud (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
  • DevOps, CI/CD and/or infrastructure as code
  • HealthCare or similarly regulated industry
  • Practical experience in design, operations, implementation and/or migration of workloads to the cloud
  • Security and compliance
  • Professional services sales and engagement delivery
  • Experience leading a team
