About the Role

Our team is responsible for the LendingClub Website, and we strive to provide the best user experience possible using customer research, design, data, technology, and a rigorous approach to testing.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with our Marketing and Brand teams to develop and implement content for the LendingClub website and all our public facing web assets
  • Partner with other internal stakeholders across the business to collect, plan, and prioritize a development backlog for your scrum team
  • Be the product owner for an Agile scrum team; partner with engineering to ensure timely delivery and accountability
  • Structure and lead customer research, product discovery, and competitive analysis
  • Ideate, define, create, and launch changes to the site or marketing pages, typically through A/B tests or content creation such as the blog or newsletter
  • Interpret results to understand the impact on customer experience as well as costs / benefits to our business
  • Act with a sense of urgency and intellectual curiosity
  • Go beyond the boundaries of what your job description states

About You

  • You have a minimum 3 years of Product Management experience at an internet company
  • In-depth experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • UI / UX – heavy website products. Website funnel conversion optimization
    • Digital marketing experience (SEO, SEM, owned media, paid media, etc)
    • Fintech product management
  • Experience in online lending, analytics or product marketing is helpful
  • Deep customer focus, and experience with researching and determining customer needs
  • Highly quantitative, analytical and business-minded with an ability to tackle complex problems in an organized way
  • Prior experience and comfort working closely with Engineering plus prior experience with Agile development
  • High energy, can-do attitude with willingness to do what it takes to get stuff done
  • Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising results
  • You have superior communication skills, both verbal and written, and are comfortable presenting to senior executives
  • You are self-directed and able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
