Essential
Ritual is looking for a strategic and organized Product Marketing Manager. As a brand that prides itself on product innovation, this is a unique opportunity to be on the front lines of our day-to-day Product Marketing, while supporting future expansions across vitamins and personal care. The role will research, ideate, and scale tactical Marketing programs to grow each product in our portfolio. The ideal candidate will think holistically about our core portfolio and work closely with Consumer Insights to ensure a consistent connection between product messaging and audience needs. In doing so, they will proactively develop processes to organize our Product Marketing initiatives, measure their performance, and ensure product understanding and fluency across departments. This person will have an innate understanding of Ritual’s product philosophy, as well as the ability to consistently translate that across Marketing briefs, product launches, and campaigns. 

What You'll Do

    • Manage day-to-day core Product Marketing initiatives, while assisting with key inputs on new product launches (e.g. market research, claims development, project management)
    • Research, ideate, and scale tactical Marketing programs to grow each product in our portfolio 
    • Manage product launch planning as needed with independent initial development of product identity decks
    • Develop processes to organize portfolio-wide product information, messaging, and key claims to ensure consistency and fluency across departments (e.g. Growth, CX, Digital Product)
    • Own stakeholder approvals as needed, working with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and regulatory compliance
    • Collaborate with Creative and Growth teams on Marketing campaign development, as well as evaluate insights from past campaigns to bring new opportunities to teams
    • Support development of new product positionings, creative briefs, and go-to-market plans
    • Support Consumer Insights team on ad-hoc research needs related to existing and new products

What You Need

    • Education: BS/BA, preferably in Marketing, business or communications field. Equivalent experience also accepted
    • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Brand Management, Brand Strategy, Product Marketing, or Marketing-related field
    • Hands-on experience with market research and Product Marketing, preferably in personal care or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
    • An understanding of direct-to-consumer eCommerce businesses, marketing practices and methodologies
    • Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop unique and cohesive customer messaging across channels
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate strategies and creative concepts to senior stakeholders
    • An eye for design to develop organized and compelling presentations that enable strategic consensus among senior stakeholders
