The role: 

As an Associate Account Manager in Sojern’s fast growing Tourism team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with major travel advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of advertiser campaigns while establishing, maintaining and developing key relationships with our partners and internal stakeholders.

 

The team:

The Tourism and Southern Europe team is a diverse, driven and talented group of Account Managers and Salespeople. Our success is based on our ability to establish, maintain and develop outstanding working relationships with Destination Management Organisations (DMOs) across Europe, and a wide range of travel advertisers in Southern Europe.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating pre-sale activities by consulting with the sales team during the RFP process; ensure accounts are set up for success, and clients are trained in our online insights and reporting portal.

  • Lead the day-to-day, post sales relationship with a portfolio of digital advertising clients

  • Take ownership of your own book of business and partner with colleagues on strategic accounts to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction, leading to renewals and upsells

  • Pitch new products and channels to grow revenue

  • Meet client goals by monitoring and influencing campaign delivery, troubleshooting issues and providing optimization and/or upsell advice across a suite of media products.

  • Lead post-campaign analysis and review, occasionally presenting results and recommendations virtually and in person.

  • Coordinate billing for clients on a monthly basis

  • Partner closely with internal teams on day-to-day operational processes.

  • This role will require occasional travel to meet key clients and attend events around Europe.

What you bring to the table:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Digital Advertising

  • Proficiency in standard business and sales software such as Salesforce, G Suite, and Office products

  • Ability to handle multiple clients & campaigns on any given day

  • Great time management and organizational skills

  • Driven; you set high standards of performance for yourself and others.

  • Team player: you have a record of seeking out ways to support your own team or collaborate with other teams.

  • Adaptable to working with a multicultural client base across European timezones

  • Experience working with a DSP (Appnexus, DBM, TradeDesk) and/or Adphorus or other Social Media platforms a plus

  • Fluency in Spanish or Italian a plus.
