Description

At Sojern, we work with some of the largest tourism boards and entities around the globe and we’re looking to expand that business even further.

In order to do that, we’re looking for a highly-organized and driven Product Marketing Manager to partner with our global Commercial, Product, and other internal teams to improve our current destination solutions (e.g., our Digital Co-Op Program and our traditional DMO campaigns) & bring new ones to life.

You will get close with our destination customers across the globe, supporting the execution of successfully bringing new solutions and features to market and nurturing both product adoption and customer retention. 

You will be located in our London office, but support our destination work across the globe. You will report to the Director of SMB Go to Market based in our San Francisco headquarters.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the launch of new features to new and existing clients, including defining the benefits and producing all collateral needed to support the launch, by effectively collaborating with Sales, Account Management and Product teams. 

  • Drive adoption of our co-op program globally, including supporting the creation of sales & thought leadership work, evaluating and improving processes, ensuring documentation & training of all internal teams, and driving growth & adoption of the program

  • Deeply understand our Sojern Online Account and be the expert of it for our DMO & Co-Op customers & internal teams 

  • Be an expert on our customers, competitors and local markets, continually refining our competitive positioning and updating internal and external collateral

  • Uncover and prioritize new product opportunities that will drive growth by talking to customers, conducting persona, audience, and external market research, and tracking competitive products

  • Uncover insights into our customers’ behavior, their roadblocks, and their most common questions and concerns (customer interviews, NPS, usability sessions, etc.)

  • Develop actionable, data-driven insights to inform product and marketing strategy

  • Attend client meetings and/or calls with our Commercial Teams to help communicate and present the technical aspects of our solutions to potential or current clients

  • Works directly with the product manager in the testing of new products and/or features to determine their feasibility, success and to determine the GTM strategy

  • Research and articulate market directions, technology trends, standards, customer requirements, and competitive threats.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to move strategic projects forward

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other business undergraduate degrees (BS, BBA)

  • 3+ years of total relevant work experience 

  • 1+ years in a Product Marketing or similar role 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including client facing / public presentation experience

  • Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage time and multiple tasks

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet expectations of multiple constituents

  • Detail oriented & highly organized

  • Strong team player

 

You will get bonus points for:

  • Experience in online travel, travel-tech, and/or programmatic advertising

  • Experience working with tourism boards, co-ops, & DMOs (Destination Marketing Organizations)
