Program Specialist, Strategic Alliances

The Program Specialist is responsible for growing and maintaining new and existing programs for key strategic partners across Experiences, Hotels, Resellers, and Travel Technology verticals.

This role requires a broad range of skills including, the ability to interpret and develop data-driven action plans, as well as execute projects across global teams while prioritizing and managing internal and external client expectations and deliverables.

To succeed in this role, you must be results-driven, open-minded/solution-focused, determined and resourceful, as well as have the ability and endurance to manage multiple strategic partners.

As a Program Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to work with major strategic partners in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of  strategic partnerships while maximizing opportunities within each relationship.



  • Adaptive, detail-oriented, organized, and an excellent communicator with analytical skills, coupled with a natural ability to collaborate across a diverse range of specialized teams globally. Strong presentation skills and an understanding of display advertising (Facebook, SEM, and Meta are a plus), audience targeting, and big data applications. 

  • Strategic account management and/or program management, ideally with Online Travel, Hotel, or Entertainment related products and services industries will be an asset. 

  • Work cross-functionally with Strategic Alliances team, Program Managers, AdOps, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to develop relevant advertising/marketing programs for key clients, prospects and their agencies

  • Deliver persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Sojern to key decision-makers to drive sales

  • Meet and exceed aggressive and growing revenue targets on a semi-annual basis

  • Work directly with clients and customer service managers to optimize their campaigns, communicate their needs internally and lead performance analyses/reviews

  • Partner closely with internal teams on day-to-day operational processes and larger, high-impact strategic improvements

  • Develop KPIs, track metrics, and deliver quarterly business reviews to key clients to ensure programs are successfully launched and growth goals of clients are being met/exceeded

  • Willing to travel to visit clients (15-20%)


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. (Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science and Math a plus)

  • Minimum of 2-4 years post-college work experience in Account Management, Program Management, Online Advertising and/or experience working with large clients

  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills

  • Strong analytical abilities that leverage our data-driven platform to produce successful campaigns

  • Ability to handle multiple global clients on any given day

  • Great time management and organizational skills

  • Willing to wear multiple hats and roll up your sleeves to get the job done

  • Understanding of the online advertising industry

  • Great with people – ability to work with internal and external teams

  • Deep product and marketing understanding as well as operational expertise a plus

  • Experience working with key regional and global hotel brands as well as independent hotels a plus
