A Sojern Senior Account Manager is a champion of success for clients and Sojern alike. They spend the majority of their time on commercially-focused work, while retaining enough oversight & insight into their campaigns to successfully retain and grow accounts.

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with major travel and brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment.

You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of advertiser campaigns while developing and maintaining our partner relationships. This is a coach-player role where you’ll manage a small team of direct reports and own a book of strategic accounts.  


  • Work with clients to maximize their campaigns ROI, communicate their needs internally and lead post-campaign analysis/review.

  • Partner closely with internal teams on day-to-day operational processes and larger, high-impact strategic improvements.

  • Coordinate with sales, ad operations, and external clients to ensure campaigns are successfully launched and meet client’s goals.

  • Serves as a resource for others regarding product or specialty area; responsible for facilitating/ sharing the most current trends and information

  • Analyze campaign performance data and provide optimization recommendations to ensure client satisfaction, renewal and overall commercial growth.

  • Serve as team lead; responsible for 2-3 direct reports. 

  • May be responsible for the largest revenue accounts or most strategic accounts

  • Travel Required - up to 20%

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • 5+ years overall experience, with at least 2 years in digital and programmatic advertising and/or travel vertical 

  • Proficiency in standard business and sales software, including Salesforce, Gsuite, and Office products

  • Ability to handle multiple clients & campaigns on any given day

  • Experience coaching, managing and mentoring team members is preferred. 

  • Great time management and organizational skills

  • Must be fluent in the language of the region you support

  • Must be flexible in working with global clients

  • Experience working with a DSP (Appnexus, DBM, MediaMatch) and/or Adphorus or other Social Media platforms

  • Understanding of the online advertising industry
