Description

Sojern is looking for a London-based, German-speaking Senior Account Manager to support our continued expansion within Europe.

The position will partner closely with our DACH (Deutschland, Austria and Switzerland, Confoederatio Helvetica) Sales Director to build and execute the regional account strategy and be responsible for delivering the highest level of client success.

As a Sojern Senior Account Manager, you will spend the majority of your time on commercially-focused work, while retaining enough oversight & insight into your campaigns to successfully retain and grow accounts.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with major travel and brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment.

You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of advertiser campaigns while developing and maintaining our partner relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure your team contributes to revenue growth in the region by developing existing business via renewals, upselling and cross-selling

  • Utilise your extensive knowledge of the DACH programmatic landscape to develop innovative campaign strategies and grow the regional account portfolio

  • Partner with the DACH Sales Director to develop and execute successful account and campaign strategies for the region

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the implementation and execution of campaigns, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class performance and service

  • Analyze campaign performance data and provide optimisation recommendations to ensure client satisfaction, renewal and overall commercial growth.

  • Drive innovation and process improvement to generate efficiencies for Sojern and our clients 

  • Travel Required - up to 25%

 

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field

  • You have 5-7 years industry, Account Management and job-related experience

  • You are fluent in German

  • You have an intimate understanding of the DACH and wider-European ad-tech landscape and key players on both the buy and sell sides

  • You have demonstrable experience in successfully retaining and growing accounts

  • You have proven hands-on programmatic trading experience with a deep understanding of DSPs and associated tools

  • You feel empowered to take initiative and give strategic recommendations in order to drive added value for your clients

  • You are analytical and like using data to tell a story

  • You are self-driven, detail-oriented and have exemplary organisation skills

  • You have excellent writing and presentation skills
