Description

Established in 1981, licensed, bonded and insured, SCAN Security has been serving the Long Island area with quality installation and personal security services.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
SCAN Security is seeking an entry-level customer-focused Service Coordinator. In this role you will ensure that the services requests for customers are being completed in a timely manner. You will have contact with customers, contractors and technicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with customer’s to assure jobs are scheduled and completed in timely manner
Transmit & tracking service tickets to various providers through completion
Outbound customer survey calls to determine status of pending service & installation tickets and customer satisfaction
Handle inbound calls from customers & providers seeking to be scheduled, technical support and sales
Scheduling customers for repair & installation appointments
Reviewing agreements for accuracy, pricing, parts, etc. prior to jobs being scheduled/sent
Updating the service and installation backlogs and keeping it up to date
Daily updating of installation jobs to a “Ready to Bill” status
Installation and service backlog reporting
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

High level of customer focus
Positive, pleasant, and professional communication skills
Technical knowledge of electronic security systems helpful
Must be able to work independently – able to complete projects start to finish
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly detailed and multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
Superior organization skills
Flexibility
One year customer service experience
Competent in Microsoft Office programs
Quick learner, highly adaptable to new processes
Excellent decision making skills
Able to sit at a desk for long periods of time
High School or GED required
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
