Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coach, manage and develop a staff that reflects Kendra Scott’s core values and provides a “WOW” customer experience.
Communicate with staff, peers and managers to maximize business and team motivation.
Spend significant time selling to identify customer needs, motivate team, and be a leader.
Assist Manager with store re-merchandising and maintenance.
Be a leader for staff on all processes and procedures regarding inventory management, product receipts, transfers, sales and scheduling as set forth by Home Office and Store Manager.
Follow and be a model for staff on all corporate policies and standards. Act as a champion for change and upholding all standards and expectations.
Assist Manager with store profitability by managing expenses, discounts, and other associated controllable expenses as set forth by Home Office and Manager.
Measure and report results of all in-store and outside events to determine return on investment as well as effect on brand awareness.
Be a representative for the Kendra Scott brand in the store and in the community.
Assist with store efforts in community outreach and planning events to drive traffic to the store.
Develop key relationships in the community that will help drive awareness, positioning, and drive store traffic. Build our brand to be a part of the community.
Work closely with corporate events manager to manage the events calendar and identify all support needs for events.
Effectively communicate with multiple teams to ensure clear expectations and awareness of upcoming events and plans.
Coordinate and fulfill local donation requests as needed.
Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
Some retail management is preferred but not required.
Ability to represent the Kendra Scott brand in all situations.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to plan and coordinate events preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership skills. Ability to gain respect and trust as a leader quickly.
Strong connection with local media, non-profit organizations and other key partners that can drive traffic to store and help build our brand.
