Our recently opened Paris office are looking for our first B2B Senior Sales Manager. Someone that comes with plenty of sales expertise to develop and grow our presence in the French digital and programmatic advertising space for travel.

The role:

The Senior Sales Manager, will manage the development of Sojern’s existing client base in France. You will also identify and develop new business, across the French market, to meet/exceed agreed revenue targets

Prospect, initiate and close new sales opportunities (e.g. Leverage your French programmatic advertising/media agency network for leads. Attend tradeshows and events in France. Seek out and attend customer meetings/presentations. Leverage Sojern’s existing global relationships with Tier 1 & 2 clients to gain entry to prospective new customers etc.)



Develop well thought out value add strategies & deliver proposals that will evolve existing revenue in customer accounts (cross sell/upsell etc).



Be a strategic influencer – Develop relationship with the “right” influencers and senior level decision makers, (both customers and their media agencies/ media buyers/ partners etc.) to increase sales.



Be consultative in your approach – Ask the right questions, dig deep to really understand customer’s needs, challenges, pain points.



Develop thorough understanding of Sojern’s products and solutions. Present complex and scalable programmatic advertising product solutions, uniquely tailored to individual customer needs. Assist in bringing these solutions to market.



Provide deep analysis and data driven insights on the “path to purchase”. Communicate how our solutions add value and drive revenue for our customers, at each stage of the journey.



Partner with our clients, or their media agency teams throughout the sales lifecycle (e.g. branding teams, performance marketing, data analytics etc.).



Work closely with clients, their media agencies and Sojerns EMEA cross functional teams before, during and after sales to deliver a seamless solution that exceeds our customers’ expectations (e.g. Pre Sales, Sales, Ad Ops, Account Management, Data Insights/BI Team, Finance etc.)



Stay ahead of travel tech/ programmatic advertising trends. Use this knowledge to offer up insightful analysis/insights/new opportunities to expand revenue in existing customers etc.



What you bring to the table:

Proven senior sales experience, specifically in the French, digital and programmatic advertising space - essential

Fluency in English - written and verbal

3 to 6+ years’ experience, developing multi-faceted, data-driven marketing and programmatic advertising solutions, ideally in the travel sector.

Strong digital/programmatic marketing contacts in France

A solid understanding of performance marketing, RTB/SEM etc.

Delivery focused - a proven track record achieving or indeed overachieving, revenue targets

You can open and close business - You're experienced going out and prospecting new clients and conducting lead generation/ lead follow up. You're not afraid to do this.

A natural influencer - You have strong public speaking and consulting expertise. You have a natural ability to build rapport and consensus. You can work seamlessly with cross functional and geographic teams.

Self-motivated - You have strong self-management skills and sense of urgency

Multitasker - Ability to manage multiple projects, and deliver constantly, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Exceptional written and presentation creation skills (English)

Ability to travel 2-3 times per quarter on average across the EMEA region (our European HQ is based in London) and to travel to French customers, as needed.
