The Business Manager is responsible for the overall business of the childcare center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in public or private setting. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
Ability to establish and maintain nurturing business and community partnerships and build networks to drive enrollment and sales. Proven ability to manage the marketing and sales for the child care center.
Ability to demonstrate strong customer service and selling skills.
Ability to understand and manage center payroll while ensuring the accuracy of time keeping systems and manage staff scheduling to meet compliance standards.
Ability to plan, monitor and appraise performance of location staff members.
Ability to listen objectively to employee concerns and complaints and act, or plan a recommended course of action, in accordance with all Company policies. Seeks counsel from Corporate Human Resources as required.
Ability to process center business related billing while ensuring alignment with budgeting guidelines.
Computer literacy required with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.
Must collaborate well with marketing department on new campaigns
Strong social media marketing skills a must
Must follow up quickly with interested parents
Make outbound calls to individuals requesting more information
Provide effective tours to potential families to drive enrollment
Build new relationships with community and business leaders (Housing Communities, Chamber of Commerce, Local Businesses)
Handle parent billings and collections
Ensure state compliance and record keeping
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
At least 3 years of successful sales, management or marketing experience
Strong verbal communication skills and writing skills
Associates degree or higher is desirable
Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service areas, as required by duties.
Must be 18 years or older.
