Responsibilities

The Director of Curriculum designs and endorses TLE's proprietary curriculum and enrichment programs that are developed for ages birth - 12 years of age.

Core responsibilities include the collaboration with the Curriculum team on future curriculum projects, along with further development and enhancement of current programs. They will be required to host curriculum trainings based upon process and implementation of research-based practices. This person must have birth through Kindergarten classroom experience and be familiar with developmentally age appropriate practices. They must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of best practices for early learners. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) and have knowledge of Microsoft Office along with experience with Adobe InDesign and Interactive Whiteboards. Successful candidate will be required to hold training classes to ensure proper implementation of the company's curriculum. They will review the organization's proprietary curriculum; act as a resource person to the Curriculum Team in order to deepen the identifications and use of new methods necessary to develop the most desirable curriculum.

The candidate must bring a high level of competency in early childhood education with a practical knowledge of what constitutes an appropriate educational program as well as curriculum enhancement for children ages 0-12.

Duties and responsibilities
Review the company’s proprietary curriculum and provide suggestions and recommendations regarding any developments.
Endorse the company’s curriculum.
Work with the Curriculum Team to make any necessary adjustments and modifications to the curriculum.
Responsible for submission of curriculum to all states for approved use in our centers.
Develop curriculum themes and concepts with a strong emphasis on developing our technology curriculum, aligning with Early Learning standards, bridging numerous state guidelines.
Conduct monthly online curriculum trainings to our centers
Conduct live workshops and presentations to our current and potential franchisees, and center management teams.
Qualifications

Requirements
Degree in Early Childhood Education with a MS.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. PhD preferred.
Teaching experience with children ages birth through Kindergarten.
Track record in analyzing, optimizing, and troubleshooting existing curriculum and education programs, as well as instituting and formulating new programs and educational curriculum.
Knowledge of interactive whiteboards and available software.
Knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel preferred. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
Knowledge of QRIS.
Knowledge of ITERS, ECERS, SACERS or similar is a must.
Candidate must be able to multi-task being able to handle numerous projects at once and be self-motivated
