Job Summary

The Senior FP&A Analyst is a detail oriented individual who will play a key role in a rapidly growing healthcare technology business. This person will track Health Catalyst’s financial and operating performance in conjunction with the accounting team and manage the Company’s financial model. This person will also run the Company’s budgeting process, perform pricing analyses, analyze customer contracts and assist with other strategic initiatives. The position will enable the individual to see all parts of Health Catalyst’s business and will provide great exposure to Health Catalyst’s leadership team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the monthly, annual, and long-term financial modeling process and drive improvements in efficiency and accuracy of the model
Manage the monthly P&L review process that includes understanding and highlighting variances to plan, providing insight on current trends, assessing impact of current trends on future performance and identifying areas of risk
Perform in-depth financial analysis for trends in revenues, costs, pricing, and profitability
Provide financial modeling, analysis and decision support for key strategic initiatives such as fundraising and/or M&A activities
Run the annual planning cycle by developing sales, revenue and expense assumptions through discussions with department heads and team leads
Conduct industry analysis to develop and monitor operational and financial benchmarks
Prepare management reports to present to the executive team and the Board of Directors

Education & Relevant Experience

2-6 years of finance-related work experience required (FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Consulting)
Experience in healthcare or technology sectors is a plus
Finance, Business, Accounting, or Technical degree is preferable
