Job DescriptionOwler is the world’s largest community-based business insights platform that 1 million+ business professionals use to outsmart their competition, gain competitive insights, and uncover the latest industry news and alerts. We’re hiring a Marketing Programs Associate (or Manager depending on experience) to build and manage data-driven integrated marketing programs and campaigns that drive user acquisition.This is a newly created position at Owler. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to test, iterate, optimize, and ultimately operationalize campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone who has demonstrated successful project ownership, managed cross-functional programs, has the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities using data, and is analytical and metrics driven.In this role, you’ll leverage our real-time data on business trends and market sentiment (50K new community insights added each day) and create reports and analysis based off of this data. You’ll work in close partnership with the marketing team to support our data-driven PR efforts, which has netted over 200 media placements in publications like Forbes, Business Insider, and CNBC in the last three months.We are on a path to 10 million active users, and the Marketing Programs Manager will play an important role in supporting our user acquisition efforts. You’ll be responsible for proactively testing and optimizing new marketing campaigns across various channels including: email, social, influencers, webinars, etc.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that’s disrupting a tired industry and to make a big impact in this newly created position. 2-5 years of experience in marketing or operations
1+ year(s) experience running campaigns or programs
Desire to work for a fast-paced startup
Advanced Excel skills, mastery of pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
Bachelor’s degree
High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Strong understanding of online marketing
Proactive attitude—you identify opportunities to drive business success
Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
Experience working on cross-functional projects
Passion for big challenges
Nice-to-Have Experience:
SQL and database experience
Experience running and creating webinar content
Email marketing experience
