About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a content strategist to craft Uber’s web experience around the world. The ideal candidate will have a track record of writing compelling content that captures an audience, captivates them, and delivers marketing results. We'll look to you to help write and build our ecosystem of web content that is performance driven and, most importantly, valuable to our users.
What You’ll Do
Manage team of content strategists and performance marketers
Partner with marketing managers, analysts, and designers to plan and execute content
Manage content across the editorial cycle—from planning and creation to measurement and optimization
Work with SEO, SEM, YouTube, and ASO analysts to track and optimize web content that augments our presence in search results
Partner with marketing managers to establish a consistent voice and tone across various media channels
Understand and champion basic usability principles, including site architecture, page hierarchy, navigability, and internal linking
Manage and/or support our evolving organizational infrastructure, including work with agencies, consultants, and contractors
What You’ll Need
5+ years of experience with top-notch writing abilities
Experience managing a team of copywriters, content strategists, or content marketing managers
A proven track record planning and writing a variety of content for the web, including short-form, long-form, interactive, and/or video content
A foundational understanding of the user-centric design process and an obsession of the customer experience
Technical marketing knowledge is a bonus but not required (however, you should be excited to learn)
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience and comfort working in a large-scale team environment with stakeholders around the world
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for getting results
