About the Role
The Security Operations Manager will Work closely with Recruiting, Finance, HR, and other operational functions to ensure the security organization is functioning efficiently. The SecOps Manager will provide people management, coaching, and leadership for a team of awesome Program Managers within the Engineering Security (EngSec) org.
What You’ll Do
Help design, drive, and measure OKRs across the EngSec and Engineering organizations
Provide program management for high priority projects and initiatives
Partner with BizOps and Finance to rollout financial planning across EngSec
Ensure information propagates through every part of the organization via newsletter assistance, team-wide all hands, important meetings, and the company intranet
Support cohesion of Security, Tech Services and Engineering teams, fostering alignment on common goals across Business and Engineering.
Shepherd company, team, and subteam cultural improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need:
Technical knowledge and immediate credibility with a team of top-notch software engineers and security engineers
Program management experience in a tech company environment
Experience managing teams of program managers in fast paced environments
A mix of startup (or small) and large company experience
Relevant experience in a large organization with hundreds of people
10 to 15 years of relevant work experience - some years in hands-on software engineering.
Strong communications skills, including writing and presentations.
Strong operations experience: We need a leader who is great at creating structure, organization, and (lightweight) development process and getting everyone aligned with them.
Strong prioritization skills and discipline are parts of this.
Exceptional and demonstrated business and product judgment.
