The Uber Production team is looking for a Production Operations Coordinator to own the creation and documentation associated with Production specific processes for our team to use when working with IT, Finance, Workplace and People Ops. This role includes tracking production budgets, financial spend and ensuring our production partners , production technology maintenance, and spearheading efficiency improvements across the team.

What you’ll do:
Work with IT, Finance, Workplace and People Ops to ensure Production teams needs are being fulfilled in a smooth and efficient way.
Build documentation and consult members of the Production team on the latest and most efficient approach to onboarding, payments and financial tracking associated with freelancers, contractors, vendors and agencies involved in production projects.
Partner with Finance, AP and Buyer Operations to resolve recurring issues with process change and escalating issues with parties involved.
At times own the vendor on-boarding process and payment logistics related to productions.
Maintain, implement and assist the Production team with a rage of technology including film/photo equipment, edit stations, emerging technology and storage systems.
Seek out, implement and customize cloud based and onsite technology solutions to help make our team more efficient in the way that we communicate, store information and manage our work.
Create a library of operations documentation and training materials for producers, editors, and creative team members.
Assist Production team in preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial spend and job budget tracking.
Collaborate with Finance and Finance Tech teams to make our process and workflow efficient at all steps in the process.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum of 5 year of experience in an operations, technology or production coordinator role
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Information Technology, Operations, related fields, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of process creation, technology and documentation
Innate understanding of business operations
Problem-Solver; you’re solutions-oriented and approach new situations with a collaborative figure it out mentality.
Ownership; you’re comfortable taking ownership over aspects of a project and not afraid to ask questions.
Ability to be independent, proactive, thorough, structured and analytical, and have strong communication skills.
Highly Collaborative; you’ll work with all parts of the organization to empower and encourage implementation of new and evolving processes.
