The Systems Engineering team has responsibility for delivering autonomous driving capabilities for UATG’s trucking program by bringing hardware and software together. The Vehicle Platform Systems Engineer is responsible for authoring, managing, verifying and validating the functional requirements for the truck vehicle platform.
What You’ll Do
As the vehicle platform systems engineer, you will be the person responsible for:
Authoring and managing system requirements for the truck platform
Working with OEM partners to ensure that the system design meets requirements, and that the design is implemented via demonstration and test
Performing detailed analysis to assess the reliability, availability, and durability of vehicle platform functions
Defining and implementing interfaces between the vehicle platform subsystems and our self-driving system
Working with embedded SW, electrical, and hardware teams to integrate UATG hardware onto vehicle platforms
Working closely with internal and external teams to author test plans and reviewing test results
Implementing and testing system concepts on prototype platforms
What You’ll Need
Experience performing detailed systems analysis on large, complex integrated systems
Experience with requirements management
Expertise in fault-tolerant and fail-operational system design concepts
Experience with environmental analysis and environmental test specification authorship
Experience with functional safety analysis
Experience with electrical system integration
