As part of the BlueJeans Global People Team, you will be responsible for providing People Partnership across our North American teams. You will provide expertise to anticipate challenges, diagnose problems, and drive programs that have a direct impact on the success of the organization. We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Your role is based in Mountain View, CA and reports into the People Operations Director.
Partner with management to identify, implement, and execute HR programs and business outcomes such as organizational planning, talent management, performance management, alignment of compensation rewards to performance and employee engagement across North America.
Provide strategic business partnership and act as a trusted HR advisor to employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
Work closely with business to drive engagement, build employee morale and increase employee retention.
Partner with EMEA/APAC People Partner as well as other cross-functional teams across Talent, and People Operations on communications and best practices
Work closely with People Operations team to provide guidance, recommendations and support necessary for the client organizations.
Drive employee development programs within the group to support career growth and retention.
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance while providing HR policy guidance.
Investigate basic and complex employee relations issues, and initiate appropriate resolution.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and functional business leaders to optimize workforce planning and recruiting efforts.
BS/BA in related discipline required, advanced degree a plus. SPHR/GPHR/PHR is strongly preferred.
8-10 years of successful experience in a human resources business generalist capacity with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above.
Strong track record of developing effective relationships across all levels of an organization, including executives
The strong ability to prioritize rapidly; strong problem solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous.
In-depth, up to date HR knowledge and passion for the latest HR trends
The ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated, and able to interact with employees at all levels. Be prepared to also support and consult managers and employees in the administration, interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
Able to exercise good judgment and discretion, maintaining confidentiality
Has a people-centric, “roll up your sleeves and get it done” work style
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
