What you will be able to do –
Your primary focus will be working with the Madison Reed Color Bar Leadership Team to execute a hiring strategy that ensures success against our short and long-term hiring goals. You will provide the resources, and the support necessary to Color Bar leadership, hiring managers and their teams to build out recruiting capabilities and expertise in order to attract and hire unrivaled talent. You will ensure our interview processes accurately assess candidate’s skills against role profiles, our leveling rubric and company values. This is a key role in the Talent and People organization in which you will be integral to growing Madison Reed’s Color Bar Team.
What you will do
Be hands-on--owning full-lifecycle recruitment (from direct sourcing to hire).
Provide day-to-day recruiting support and guidance to hiring managers and interview teams to ensure hiring goals are met.
Source and develop a strong pipeline of qualified candidates by developing strong relationships with a variety of sources to identify, attract and recruit highly qualified individuals for our Color Bar division.
Provide recruiting updates and progress tracking to the team.
Create and facilitate resources and training to ensure we are consistently hiring according to Madison Reed’s values: love, joy, courage, responsibility, and trust.
Leverage our ATS (Greenhouse) to ensure an effective and efficient results-driven recruiting processes.
Post, update and maintain job descriptions on targeted websites through our ATS system and on other job sites.
Initiate background screening
Write and verbally extend job offers.
Maintain relationships with search firms
Coordinate with other members of the Talent & People team to facilitate onboarding
Facilitate a positive candidate experience
Partner with internal teams to execute hiring including but not limited to, finance, comp and benefits, and People & Talent business partners.
Skills & Requirements
3 + years of experience recruiting in a fast paced and growing company
Experience in recruiting both exempt and non-exempt positions
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to details and the ability to prioritize.
High sense of urgency
Experience with ATS systems
Excellent computer skills
Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative and works effectively.
Ability to function autonomously as well as in a team environment.
Additional and highly prefered
Experience in the beauty / personal care service industry
Proficiency with Greenhouse ATS
