Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) segment of a network. Maintain network and Datacenter hardware and software. Monitor network and systems to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network high availability. May coordinate with other system support and client server specialists and plan, and implement network security measures. Co-ordinate with Information Security team and implement network security policy
Required experience includes:
Planning, Designing and Architecting LAN/ WLAN/VOIP/WAN solutions
Good knowledge of TCP/IP stack routing /switching and subnetting
Strong knowledge Protocols like RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, ECMP, MPLS.
5+ years of hands on experience of handling heterogeneous enterprise corporate network, preferably for a cloud services
Proficiency with Juniper / Cisco CLI.
Adept at working with vendors for appliances and peering.
Network engineering and security proficiency around firewalls and VPNs.
Solid working knowledge of Open vSwitch (OVS).
Experience using clouds such as Azure, AWS VPC, EC2, Route 53, NLB, and virtualization with Open stack or Dockers containers.
Diagnose Networking hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
Reviewing system and application logs of Global network resources. Keep latest backup of the configuration.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Troubleshooting of complex LAN/WAN and firewall issues
Handle direct internal customer calls and respond to network incidents and network service requests
Network monitoring and utilization reporting tools like NTOP/Cacti, collect vital stats from devices and provide reporting
Working knowledge of Aruba WLCs and hands-on troubleshooting Wi-Fi devices
Create and maintain detailed network documentation
Expertise in SD-WAN deployments.
Experience in QoS and IPSEC VPN, H232 and SIP Protocols.
Working knowledge of Cumulus switching equipment
Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science
Juniper/Cisco certification preferred
Strong communication skill.
