Who you are
You have a passion for user experience design and are ready to roll up your sleeves, join a passionate team, and build a business at light speed while disrupting a $50 billion industry. You possess a strategic understanding of web use trends and ecommerce.
You are a self-starter. If there's something you don't know how to do, you know how to find the answer. You have an eye for UX inefficiencies and know how they impact product performance. You crave understanding user needs through research, creating interactive prototypes, user testing, designing interfaces, and testing your design to make sure it meets all project goals. You are as comfortable discussing data as you are defining an edge case. You have a penchant for beautiful, empathic, and informative work, and you're always looking for interesting and novel ways to incorporate cutting-edge technology into your work.
A product design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve customer needs
Deep understanding of design principles and industry trends
Storyboard & prototype UX / interaction experiences on paper and using tools such as Sketch and Invision
Develop and advance site-wide hybrid UX/UI guides
Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant
Readily give and receive constructive feedback
Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams
Partner with Product Managers, designers, engineers and executives to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch and then beyond
Communicate complex UX concepts in ways that are clear to stakeholders
Experience in building and shipping eCommerce and/or consumer experiences
Bachelors in Design (Human Computer Interaction or Web Page, Digital Multimedia and Information Resource Design)
3 - 5 years design experience
Experience in Sketch and Invision
