The Opportunity Since being founded in 2006, SundaySky has mostly been focused on acquiring large Enterprise (Fortune 500) customers. This has helped us pave our way to a mature product and accelerated growth. We are now looking to leverage our experience and extend our offering to mid-size online retailers and brands, that make up a significant part of the e-commerce market. We've started laying the foundation of the go-to-market strategy for this new business unit and are now looking for a leader who can continue to build it for success. About the Role As the Head of Mid-Market Sales, you will be responsible for building the Mid-Market sales team from the ground up. This includes designing the right processes and hiring the best people to effectively execute on the Mid-Market revenue growth strategy. The Mid-Market sales team will include SDRs and Account Executives which you will be expected to hire, train and lead. You will also be required to partner closely with the Marketing team to build and execute the Mid-Market go-to-market plan and with the Customer Success team, to ensure an effective strategy for the expansion of existing accounts. What you will do: * Build and manage a team of high-performance Sales Development Reps (SDR's) and Account Executives (AE's) * Design and execute an efficient and effective end-to-end sales process tailored for Mid-Market ecommerce prospects * Introduce new sales development technologies and tools to support rapid scale and growth * Build the reports and dashboards needed to track progress and optimize for success. * On-going training and coaching of SDR's and AE's * Collaborate with Marketing to refine lead nurturing, launch campaigns and create the collateral needed to support sales efforts. Who you are: * A proven SaaS leader that is strong on both the tactical and strategic levels while motivating the team * Willing to get your hands dirty with the day-to-day aspects of sales: improving the sales demo, designing outbound sales tactics and process, ensuring accountability and performance of the team, structuring Salesforce, running reports and performing analysis, etc. * Able to create, document and deploy a repeatable process that increases revenue per lead * Data-driven and results oriented * Strong familiarity with the inside-sales model * A team player that partners with other teams and creates synergies that benefit the entire organization * You’ve sold to ecommerce marketers before, and understand what appeals most to them Education/Experience: * BA/BS required * 5+ years of management experience in an ecommerce technology or advertising technology company that focuses on ecommerce
