About the Role


We are looking for a Product Manager to help us drive specific initiatives for’s site experience and to provide best-in-class marketing and services for existing customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Internalize and deeply understand Uber’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the Uber web team.
  • Own a product roadmap that supports the overall Uber, Rider and Driver vision and a narrative for how your roadmap aligns with Uber’s mission and strategies.
  • Lead the definition and execution of scalable data-focused solutions to support core customer needs for and ultimately a better experience for riders and driver partners.
  • Define and communicate product plan from conception to launch.
  • Contributie to technical conversations around deadlines and engineering solutions.
  • Understand the requirements and needs of Uber’s markets to ensure successful global deployment of new features and projects.
  • Identify partnerships and align across the organization with Product and Engineering teams on gap analysis and needs for integrated data, platform, advertising technology, or personalization engineering investment and development.
  • Work with Uber internal stakeholders across Site Management, Design, UX, Global and Engineering teams.


What You’ll Need

  • A passion to apply technology and data to change how humanity moves
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management
  • Strong customer empathy, with an ability to transform complex data and customer insights into a prioritized roadmap
  • Technical expertise and the ability to question, understand, and challenge software implementation decisions and priorities.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers to deliver extraordinary products
  • Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and stakeholders
  • Academic background in computer science or engineering
  • A bold and optimistic personality: We’re coming to work everyday challenging the status quo, and we’re looking for people comfortable asking bold, quirky questions, along with the mental resilience to know we’re just at the start of a long journey.


About the Team


The Web team is a multi-functional team responsible for the customer experience and functions for riders and drivers on  We collaborate with almost every business and brand group at Uber, partnering to acquire new riders and drivers and develop our community and relationship with our existing customers. We are global -- our research, UX, design and development processes and work for every region.
