When’s the last time you worked on a product that you felt made a positive impact on someone?
Lumosity is a brain training program with over 85 million users and 4.4 billion games played. In addition to improving Lumosity, we’re also creating new products that combine science, engineering and design to help people develop better sleep habits, practice mindfulness, and more. We’re looking for a talented mind to join our Creative Team and to lead the design of our Mindfulness product.

    • Lead and manage the product designers on the Mindfulness team, provide direction, and set best-practices
    • Design and unify build highly polished, end-to-end experiences of the Mindfulness product
    • Create expressive visualizations designed for communicating abstract concepts
    • Go wide in concepting, rapidly translate and test those concepts with interactive prototypes, and synthesize your findings into actionable next stepsDesign, refine, and expand the product design, design systems, and architecture for the Mindfulness product
    • Gather and synthesize user research to share back with the team
    • Collaborate with design, product, engineering, science, and meditation experts to build a deep library of engaging and enjoyable meditation training content
    • Collaborate with Head of Creative and Head of Product on vision, and with the teams to make it reality
    • Work in an agile environment using data and analytics to inform user-centered design decisions and rapid iterative improvement


    • 8+ years experience creating elegant, innovative, and emotionally satisfying product experiences
    • An inspired portfolio of work that demonstrates a deep understanding of the problem, paired with elegant, innovative, and thoughtful solutions
    • An equally strong UX and visual design foundation with an understanding of how to apply it into satisfying interactive experiences
    • Strong user research skills, including the experience to know which methods are most appropriate for answering the questions at hand
    • The ability to identify user problems and articulate how your solutions are addressing those core problems
    • A working understanding of how to apply movement, timing, and sound to create emotional resonance
    • Strong collaborative and communication skills to work on a close-knit team
    • An understanding of designing to achieve business objectivesProficient prototyping skills in Principle, Origami, Invision, Framer.js, or something similar
    • Proficient knowledge of Sketch, Zeplin, and the Adobe Creative Suite
