This is a unique opportunity to join the legal department of an industry-leading marketing automation company in Portland, Oregon. In this role you will report directly to the General Counsel and provide oversight of the company’s contract management process.  You will be the primary point-of-contact for drafting and negotiating sales, vendor and partner agreements and will be considered an adviser to the relevant departmental leaders within Act-On.

Essential Job Functions: 

The Contracts Manager will have broad responsibilities that include:
Partnering with sales, finance and other departments to manage and process company agreements.
Maintaining a contract database.
Assisting in the development and upkeep of standard form agreements and policies.
Implementing process and procedures for the review and approval of agreements.
Training internal clients on contract forms and procedures.
Working closely with the General Counsel and internal clients during technology transactions.

Developing and maintaining standard forms and playbooks
Tracking metrics related to legal department performance and utilization.
Providing general support to the General Counsel and other executives to further team and company objectives.

Job Requirements: 

5+ years contracts management, legal operations or project management experience;

In-house legal team experience with SaaS agreements;
Previous roles that emphasized prioritizing, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines;
Scaling new processes and procedures; and
Familiarity with Salesforce, Docusign, and contract management software.

Required Education: 

BA/BS or equivalent from a 4-year university. Business or technical fields are preferred.
