Senior Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to help drive our company’s growth. As Product Marketing Manager (and the first product marketing hire), you will lead every facet of our product marketing strategy from beginning to end.  You have a deep understanding of customer challenges and needs, the competitive landscape, and broader technology trends in our vertical. You will be an integral part of the go-to-market team and will work closely with product, engineering, and sales to deliver on revenue and other business goals. You will be creating effective go-to-market strategies, positioning and messaging documents, as well as be a key external voice of the customer. You will also drive the strategy and execution for product launches and be responsible for enabling all customer-facing teams on message and product.

Responsibilities include:

    • Establish the product and platform marketing strategy, incl. packaging
    • Understand and define the sales cycle, including buyer personas, sales motions, and adoption barriers. Work cross-functionally to continuously deliver effective field enablement including messaging, presentations, content, demos and tools to drive conversion and sales velocity. Design, deliver and train the field on value- and story-based demonstrations, working alongside the field technical sales team
    • Develop and maintain key content and assets including competitive materials, pitch decks, customer results, product videos and demo videos. Create high-quality, customer-facing content for website, events, demand gen, advisory board etc.
    • Drive Go to marketing strategy for products and own the launch process for solutions and product features incl. pricing, packaging and communicating how to sell to the sales team and Customer Success
    • Research and maintain technical competitive intelligence for key functionality and markets
    • Collaborate and working with product and other members of the marketing team to help develop the strategy and programs to drive demand and enable the sales pipeline

About you:

    • BA/BS Degree, in a technical field preferred. MBA is a bonus
    • You have and will continue to build a strong technical aptitude, leadership skills, and business acumen.  
    • 7+ years of product marketing experience
    • Ability to use and analyze data to drive decisions and initiate marketing plans
    • Experience with content development for complex products business buyer
    • Exceptional written and verbal skills with meticulous attention to detail
    • Bias to action
    • NOTE: Although this is a Director-level title, it is also very much an individual contributor role to start as the team and company scale.
