Position Overview:
The HR People Partner at Shape will work with the VP, HR to foster a positive work culture that promotes employee engagement.  Help establish policies and procedures. Cultivate internal and external relationships in support of business and HR goals. Establish strong work partnerships with the management team, managers, and employees.

Responsibilities

    • Provide support for HRIS and related systems.
    • Design and maintain training programs and documentation.
    • Assist with employee benefits from end to end. Facilitate and conduct New Hire Orientation.
    • Assist with all HR-related compliance, including maintaining and communicating HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist with employee engagement initiatives including wellness, holiday events, and company activities.
    • Assist with managing immigration process, administering leaves of absence and workers’ compensation cases.
    • Maintenance of filing systems.
    • Serve as back up to team members/receptionist when necessary.
    • Other tasks as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of experience in human resources function or equivalent in education, training and experience.
    • High tech experience a must.
    • Strong ability to multi-task, self-manage with excellent organizational skills.
    • Very detail-oriented.
    • Demonstrated understanding and application of HR compliance and best practices.
    • Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
    • Background in learning and development.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • HRIS and international experience a plus.
