Position Overview
At Shape Security, a Senior Recruiter is a strategic partner with our hiring teams.  We go after world class talent. The type of talent we recruit is often passive, engaged in their work and a top performer at their current company.  It’s your job to skillfully engage, recruit and sell them on the opportunities at Shape Security. To be successful in this role, you must be adept at identifying key sources, mapping and profiling competitive talent, proficient at building a pipeline, track key performance indicators and metrics and exhibit strong candidate management and closing skills.  You must be strategic with your recruiting team members and your internal clients that you support by quickly identifying and implementing the right approaches to getting world-class talent interested in Shape Security.


    • Work with assigned managers/business groups to thoroughly understand our open positions and recruiting needs
    • Own full-cycle recruiting process, including recruiting kick off sessions with hiring teams, managing recruitment strategy and pipeline development, screening resumes, interviews, closing offers, including onboarding hand off to HR team
    • Identify talent through creative sourcing channels (e.g. social networking, internet research, cold calling, regular networking at events)Establish and own relationships with relevant colleges, student groups, and developer communities
    • Plan and execute creative recruiting events that attract top technical talent
    • Work with other members of the recruiting team to track goals, metrics, and team performance
    • Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times

Required Skills and Experience

    • Minimum of 5 plus years of full life cycle, recruiting experience within an in-house recruitment team, preferably with successful technology companies
    • Demonstrated experience executing a full-cycle recruiting process
    • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (Lever preferred but any ATS is ok)
    • Understanding and management of the balance between quality and quantity with demonstrated success at bringing in a high volume of qualified talent
    • Exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-through
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, networking, and public speaking
    • Deep business acumen with the ability to quickly understand business and talent needs for hiring teams and develop best strategies to effectively deliver that talent
    • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced changing work environment while prioritizing multiple functions and managing time efficiently
