Product Manager, Data & Analytics

This person must have an extensive background as a Product Manager delivering SaaS solutions in an agile environment. This person must be passionate about technology yet equally adept at business and developing products via partnerships. The right candidate will also be a keen observer and a excellent communicator with internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with internal and external customers, UX designers, software developers and testers who enhance the software systems that make up the backbone of the services we provide. They deal with a complex set of interrelated systems that run 24/7 to support multi-lingual users around the globe. Your job will entail:


  • Ability to understand customer needs and market trends through customer interaction and other market research
  • Own product roadmap and communicate product requirements effectively to UX designers and software developers through epics, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria
  • Drive product vision and a strong desire to innovate using a lean start-up approach carrying ideas from prototypes to MVP to launch – monitoring progress and intervening when necessary to bring items to completion
  • Define, manage and monitor product and business KPIs, such as: revenue growth, cost savings, turnaround time, NPS, etc.
  • Work closely with Business Analyst team on delivering standard and advanced dashboards and reports to customers
  • Participating in scrum team meetings as the product owner (sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews)
  • Participating in Product Management team meetings (roadmap planning, release planning), and other inter-team meetings
  • Familiar with the nuances of developing software on a global/international scale


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Passionate about big data, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence
  • Understand design thinking and agile development methodologies
  • Experience launching new products to market and executing readiness plans
  • The ability to take decisive ownership of tough business problems
  • Substantial experience with an Agile process (preferably Scrum)
  • Writing well-crafted User Stories, Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills while managing multiple projects


Experience, Training and Education:

Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:


  • Customer facing experience required
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Business or related degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, as a product owner
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence and/or Analytics products like Logi, Tableau, etc.
  • Atlassian Software Suite (JIRA and JIRA Agile), Rally, or similar story/bug tracking tools
  • Experience working with internal and external teams as a product owner
  • Domain knowledge in the area of vendor management or supply chain management a plus
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or Pragmatic Marketing
