Description

The role:

You will manage marketing programs to drive profitable customer acquisition and revenue growth through data analysis and rapid test & learn initiatives for our Property Solutions and Tourism lines of business. Your key objectives will be to acquire new customers, drive successful onboarding, and retain/grow existing business. The successful candidate will make a tangible impact across the business in this highly visible role. You will identify high-leverage opportunities for new revenue generation, build data-driven hypotheses for improving marketing performance, and execute A/B tests. You will own reporting and work directly with the product, sales and broader marketing teams to offer strategic insights into the performance of the marketing and sales funnels.

The ideal candidate is a highly self-directed doer with exceptional attention to detail who has built and scaled B2B demand generation funnels via marketing automation systems and analytics on a global scale. This role is based in San Francisco, California, reporting to the Director, Demand Generation. You’ll be a key player in building our world-class marketing vision, help drive major competitive advantage for Sojern, and work with a really smart, fun group of people. You’ll also be supported by a Marketing VP who “gets” demand generation and marketing ops and has experience building industry-leading teams.

 

  • Drive tactics, prioritization & execution of all marketing optimization levers to achieve quarterly targets and KPIs

  • Manage metrics definitions, collect data, build reports and dashboards, analyze performance and trend lines, present conclusions in a digestible format for varied audiences

  • Optimize and manage performance of email nurture, customer onboarding, newsletters, trigger sequences in partnership with product, content and customer marketers

  • Partner with global sales teams to identify high-value target accounts across regions, manage SLAs, and optimize lead quality / handoff efficiency

  • Manage advertising performance across digital channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, retargeting, prospecting, e-newsletters, landing page) to generate inbound leads from a predefined target account list

  • Manage third party media relationships and contractor resources

  • Own reporting for Property Solutions and Tourism marketing results and ROI

 

What you bring to the table:

  • BA or BS degree

  • 5+ years of progressive career experience and proven success with profitable B2B demand generation

  • Ability to curate / troubleshoot data from multiple sources, unpack relevant insights, and make recommendations to drive meaningful revenue growth

  • Experience developing and optimizing lead nurture and customer onboarding programs

  • Comfortable in a rapid test and learn approach to learn quickly and scale results

  • Desire to be accountable for hitting marketing performance targets and KPIs

  • Expertise reporting metrics from Marketo, SFDC, Google Analytics, Tableau

  • Expert fluency with marketing metrics and KPIs including CAC, LTV, CPL, and ROI

  • Passion for digging for insights while working with imperfect data

  • Team player with strong cross-functional skills
