Description

The role

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter to help us execute our global marketing strategy, supporting key marketing initiatives including events and conferences, client gifts, collateral development, website management, social media, and more. The right person is part problem solver, part project task master, and all about getting the job done. This unique role provides an up and coming marketer the opportunity to join a fast growing and dynamic team. Reporting to the Director, Brand Marketing, you’ll be a key player in building our world-class brand vision and driving competitive advantage for Sojern.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support global events including planning and logistics, conference registration for sales reps, travel scheduling, pre- and post-event outreach, etc.

  • Work with Sales reps to support in event registration, sponsorship and budget tracking.

  • Manage and help execute direct mail campaigns, client gifts, and social media outreach.

  • Conduct surveys and collect feedback from sales teams on how to improve marketing collateral and presentations.

  • Work with the design team and external contractors to manage timelines and keep collateral development and website content projects on track.

  • Research new opportunities for events, awards submissions, and brand development programs.

  • Brainstorm new and creative ideas to contribute to ongoing marketing efforts.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • 1+ years of work experience in events or high tech marketing a plus.

  • Highly organized with exceptional project management skills.

  • Outgoing and passionate about ensuring a high quality customer experience.

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while managing multiple projects on time and on budget.

  • Strong team player and self-starter with the ability to work well independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with hospitality and travel brands a plus.

  • A sense of humor.
