YOU HAVE

    • 4+ years proven experience in IT management for a 100+ employee company
    • 4+ years of other IT experience
    • A bachelor's degree
    • Strong IT Vision and execution: seek out innovation points, company mandates, and tech debt; convert into well-defined projects; see projects through to successful completion; provide effective documentation and long-term support
    • Effective communicator: must excel at inter- and intra-team communication
    • Expert-level knowledge in networking technologies such as DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, IPSec
    • Proven track record in maintaining strong in-house security and compliance practices, potentially through the aid of a Security and Compliance Officer
    • Experience in File Management Systems, Asset management and tracking, Machine provisioning, Compliance practices, LAN/WAN technologies, Cisco/Meraki networking equipment, Business systems, Enterprise security

YOU WILL

    • Manage all IT functions
    • Work closely with Sr. Management in strategic planning and tactical execution regarding IT roadmap initiatives, financial planning, and compliance mandates
    • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations, and help find tools for improving IT processes and team-level work processes
    • Act as mentor to current team members regarding IT technologies, knowledge, and best practices; provide career growth/professional development counsel and opportunities
    • Enforcing security best practices, and in updating and developing documentation regarding IT policies, Disaster Recovery plans, large IT Projects, etc.
    • Simplify our in-office infrastructure; help us reduce our tech debt through effective use of SaaS tools wherever possible
    • Further develop effective employee onboarding and offboarding strategies.
    • Provide automation of repeatable infrastructure and process tasks via a CM system and/or other solutions
    • Make sure our IT team maintains strong QoS through our IT ticketing system
